Introduction

Take part in a blood donation drive organised by the EFS Bourgogne Franche-Comté at the Chateau of Bussy-Rabutin.

This is a charitable event in an unusual setting , open to both donors and holidaymakers, at a time when blood stocks remain low due to people going on holiday and the hot weather.

After donating, donors will be free to stroll through the monument’s 12-hectare park and gardens , relax in the shade of the century-old lime trees or lose themselves in the maze. They will also enjoy preferential-rate access tothe château’s interior.

How to book a slot

To book an appointment, simply visit the EFS blood donation website or the ‘Don de sang’ app and select your preferred collection point.

Before donating, the French Blood Establishment (EFS) advises following three rules:

1. Check that you are eligible to donate using the online quiz

2. Book your preferred time slot online, even at the last minute

 3. Bring a form of photo ID, do not fast beforehand, and make sure you feel well.
